The Toronto Flute School year consists of 36 individual lessons, 16 one-hour ensemble classes, 2 ensemble concerts and one solo recital. For payment convenience, fees are invoiced in two semesters: September 15, 2007 and January 27, 2008. There is an Events Fee of $30 added to the first semester invoice to cover the cost of the church and accompanist for the concerts.
  • 30-minute lessons: $688. per semester
  • 45-minute lessons: $976 per semester
  • 60-minute lessons: $1264. per semester

Lessons begin September 8, 2007 and end early June 2007. Ensemble classes begin September 29, 2007 and finish May 31, 2008. A detailed schedule of these classes will be given out during the first week of lessons and will also be posted on this website. Our concert dates for this year are:

  • Winter Ensemble Concert: Saturday, December 15, 2007
  • Solo Recital: Sunday, February 24, 2008
  • Spring Ensemble Concert: Saturday, June 7, 2008

Occasionally, it is not immediately possible to place a student in a level and age-appropriate ensemble. If this should occur, fees will be adjusted accordingly.

  • First semester fees are due September 15, 2007.
  • Second semester fees are due January 25, 2008.
  • Other arrangements can be made for fee payments. Please inquire.
  • All lessons cancelled by the teacher will be made up.
  • Lessons cancelled by the student for reasons of illness or family emergency will be rescheduled if a mutually convenient time can be arranged.
